Hello, I enjoyed reading your bio. :D

Corkycomp's Writing

"She was surrounded by commanding, finely dressed men... But next to her, they looked like lambs in a wolf’s den, ...All wide eyes and nervous fidgeting... As she spoke in a voice so very cutting."

Done in the style of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales

A rather bittersweet poem about love and loneliness and wasting your life away waiting for something you may never get.

Er, first off, I have no clue if I have the genre right (I guess this is free verse...). [EDIT: Changed it to unmetered rhyme--thanks disparity! :D ] But anyway, I was in a bit of an odd mood when I wrote this. It was for an English assignment. We had to write a poem resembling the style of Anne Bradstreet about either something we'd lost or a poem about a loved one.

Other than that, I don't have much to say about this (well, I guess I'll add that the rhyming was a PAIN x_x). :D
